USA Rice

While at food media startup Feedfeed (@thefeedfeed), I worked with our client USA Rice to create a dynamic influencer campaign to promote U.S.-grown rice, which kicked off with a trip to Arkansas rice growers Ralston Family Farms. Along with the client, we selected four influencers from a range of culinary backgrounds to showcase how to integrate rice into a variety of dishes and lifestyles. The influencers joined Feedfeed editors and staff, along with clients and farmers, for a tour of how rice is grown and processed, a rice-centric welcome dinner and farm lunch from local chefs, and a sushi-making class featuring U.S.-grown rice. On site, they and team Feedfeed created coverage of the experience to share on their own and Feedfeed’s social channels to allow followers to experience the trip alongside them. After the trip, the influencers created a series of recipes that were amplified across Feedfeed’s channels from social platforms to email newsletters. In addition, Feedfeed’s editorial team created additional original content based on influencer recipes to promote the program to the Feedfeed community.
